Commonwealth act
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Act authorises the issue and application of £4,404,750 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund for Commonwealth services until 30 June 1937: Parliament sets the amounts in the Schedule and the Treasurer is empowered to pay them, with warrants of the Governor‑General making funds available (ss 2–3); expenditure is barred after 30 June 1937 (s 4). The Schedule itemises payments to departments, business undertakings, territories, trust accounts, refunds and an advance to the Treasurer, so taxpayers ultimately provide the funds.
