Commonwealth act
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Act authorises the Treasurer to withdraw and apply £4,076,175 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the year ending 30 June 1925, allocating specified sums across Commonwealth departments, trust funds and services. It permits payments only to satisfy Governor‑General warrants and prohibits expenditure after 30 June 1925. It affects taxpayers (who provide the revenue), departmental managers (who receive the allotments) and the Treasurer (who controls disbursement), because it legally enables short‑term government spending and fixes who may spend what and when.
