Commonwealth act
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Act retroactively validates £672,112 withdrawn from the Consolidated Revenue Fund in 1934–35, treating that spending as if authorised when the original budget Act passed.
The funds covered government departments and services, Commonwealth business undertakings (railways and postal services), and administration of the Territories (Northern Territory, Canberra, Papua). It’s a supplementary appropriation to legalise overspending and tidy the public accounts.
