This Act authorises a £1,336,386 supplementary appropriation for the 1924–25 year, permitting the Treasury to withdraw that sum from the Consolidated Revenue Fund to cover departmental overspending and new expenses.
It preserves uninterrupted public services—especially postal operations, tax and customs functions—and documents how the extra money is allocated to ensure fiscal transparency.

BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows :—
