Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Determination, effective 1 July 2008, substitutes new fortnightly productivity contribution rates into the PSS Rules for the 2008–09 year, changing how much members of the Public Sector Superannuation (PSS) scheme must have deducted from pay. Contributions are set either as fixed fortnightly amounts or as percentages by salary band; the delegate of the Australian Reward Investment Alliance made the change, so payrolls and scheme administrators must adjust calculations—this directly affects members' take‑home pay and creates modest administrative compliance tasks.
