Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Declaration replaces the numerical amounts used to calculate the Superannuation (Productivity Benefit) for the period 1 July 1992 to 31 December 1992. It sets three payment bands (a fixed low amount, 4% of pay for the middle band, and a fixed high amount) and takes effect on gazettal. The change alters the benefit amounts used in the Schedule to the Superannuation (Productivity Benefit) Act 1988 (see s.2) and therefore affects employees whose pay falls into those bands during the stated period.
