Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Declaration under section 3D of the Superannuation (Productivity Benefit) Act 1988 replaces the Schedule’s continuing contribution table for 1 July 1994–30 June 1995. It sets three bands: < $270.60 → $13.53; $270.60–$1,598.46 → 5% of the employee’s pay‑period salary; ≥ $1,598.46 → $79.92.

It applies to employees covered by that Act and to the entities required to make continuing contributions; the Minister for Finance fixed the amounts. The change mechanically alters contribution costs and retirement accruals for that 12‑month period.
