Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Declaration replaces the fortnightly productivity contribution rates in subsection 110C(1) of the Superannuation Act 1976 for the period 1 July 1994 to 30 June 1995. It prescribes four salary bands with either fixed dollar amounts or percentage-based contributions taken from an employee’s fortnightly salary. Employees in the Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme pay the specified amounts via payroll; the Minister for Finance effected the change under section 110D. The instrument changes take‑home pay and payroll calculations for that financial year.
