Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Declaration sets the fortnightly "productivity contribution" rates payable under section 110D of the Superannuation Act 1976 for Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme members for the 2012–2013 year, effective 1 July 2012. It substitutes new amounts into the table in subsection 110C(1).

Members pay the specified contributions via payroll. The Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation delegate determined the rates. Mechanically it replaces previous fixed-dollar and percentage bands with set dollar amounts for lower bands and percentage (3% or 2%) contributions for higher salary bands.
