Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Declaration updates the fortnightly "productivity contribution" rates payable by CSS employees for the 2008–09 financial year, effective 1 July 2008. Mechanically it substitutes new values into the table in s110C(1) of the Superannuation Act 1976: two fixed fortnightly amounts and two earnings bands where contributions are set at 3% or 2% of an employee’s fortnightly salary (cl 3).

The change was made by the Delegate (J. Hale) under s110D; employers/payroll must apply the new rates.
