Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Declaration sets the fortnightly “productivity contribution” rates payable by members of the Civilian Superannuation Scheme for the 2005–06 financial year by substituting new amounts into the table in subsection 110C(1) of the Superannuation Act 1976. Contributions are tiered by fortnightly salary, with some brackets charged a fixed dollar amount and others charged at 3% of fortnightly pay.

Made by a CSS Board delegate under section 110D and commencing 1 July 2005, it changes payroll deductions and employer payroll calculations; the practical burden is on payroll administrators to apply the new rates.
