This Declaration replaces the statutory table that sets fortnightly ‘productivity contributions’ for CSS members for the 2001–02 financial year. It prescribes fixed-dollar contributions for lower and certain upper salary bands and percentage-based contributions (3% or 2%) for the middle and highest bands.

Employees fund the contributions from fortnightly pay; a Ministerial delegate made the substitution. The change alters employees’ fortnightly take-home pay by salary band, shifts marginal costs at pay thresholds, and imposes payroll and compliance adjustments for employers and administrators.

I, SANDRA KAY WILSON, Branch Manager of the Superannuation Branch, Department of Finance and Administration, a delegate of the Minister for Finance and Administration, hereby make the following Declaration under section 110D of the Superannuation Act 1976.

1 Citation

This Declaration may be cited as the Superannuation (CSS) Productivity Contribution (2001–2002) Declaration.

Note This Declaration commences on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, ss. 46A and 48.

2 Productivity contributions

In relation to the financial year commencing on 1 July 2001, the Table in subsection 110C (1) of the Superannuation Act 1976 is to have effect as if the amounts specified in the following Table were substituted for the amounts specified in that Table.
