Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

The declaration recognises Flinders University’s superannuation scheme for ancillary (administrative and support) staff as an “eligible superannuation scheme” under Commonwealth law. That recognition lets affected staff transfer retirement benefits between the university scheme and Commonwealth public service schemes, preventing loss or freezing of entitlements when moving between university and government employment.
