#### 22 Interpretation (1) For the purposes of this Division, the prescribed amount is such amount, being a multiple of $130, as is specified in the regulations for the purpose of this subsection. (2) In making a regulation for the purpose of subsection (1), the Governor‑General: (a) is not required to act on the recommendation of the Board; and (b) shall have regard to any general variations in the rates of salaries of employees that have occurred.
