138Contributions payable from next pay‑day

#### 138 Contributions payable from next pay‑day (1) Where the date from which any contributions would be payable under this Act is not a pay‑day, those contributions are payable as from the next following pay‑day. (2) In calculating the rate of the contributions under the appropriate table or tables in the Schedules to be paid fortnightly by a contributor for a unit or units of pension, the obligation of the contributor to contribute for the unit or units shall be deemed to have come into existence on the pay‑day as from which the contributions are payable.
