118Retrenchment

#### 118 Retrenchment (1) A person to whom this Part applies shall, for the purposes of section 50 of this Act, be deemed to have been a contributor to the Fund from and including the date on which sums deducted from his pay under section 17 of the Ordinance commenced to be deducted. (2) For the purposes of this Act, sums deducted under section 17 of the Ordinance from the pay of a person to whom this Part applies shall be deemed to be contributions paid by that person to the Fund.
