116Interpretation

#### 116 Interpretation (1) In this Part, unless the contrary intention appears: > person to whom this Part applies means a person from whose pay there were being deducted, immediately before the commencement of this section, sums under section 17 of the Ordinance and who, within three months after the commencement of this section, makes an election having the effect of an election to contribute to the Fund. > the Ordinance means the Police Superannuation Ordinance 1928‑1950 of the Australian Capital Territory. (2) In this Part, any reference to sums deducted from the pay of a person under section 17 of the Ordinance includes a reference to contributions made by a person under section 3 of the Ordinance.
