### 12 Provisions regarding publication > > (1)  *\[Section 12 Subsection (1) amended by No. 77 of 1994, s. 12 \]*Subordinate legislation is, for the purposes of this Part, to be taken to have been made on the date on which it was published, or notification of its making was published, in the *Gazette*. > > > (2)  If subordinate legislation made under one Act is by law to be treated as made under another, the date of its publication is, for the purposes of this Part, the date it was originally published.
