Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This proclamation sets 27 June 2014 as the date the Student Identifiers Act 2014 takes effect, switching on the Unique Student Identifier (USI) scheme. It makes the USI law operational, requiring vocational students to have a single lifelong identifier and obliging registered training organisations to collect and report it. The action turned the Act from passed legislation into enforceable law.
