#### 28 Entities that may be given access to an authenticated VET transcript etc. (1) The Registrar may, on request, give a registered training organisation, VET‑related body or other entity access to: (a) an authenticated VET transcript of an individual who has been assigned a student identifier; or (b) an extract from an authenticated VET transcript of an individual who has been assigned a student identifier; in accordance with the access controls set by the individual. > Note: The Registrar may also disclose personal information in an authenticated VET transcript in accordance with Australian Privacy Principle 6. (2) The request must: (a) be made in a manner and form approved by the Registrar; and (b) include any information required by the Registrar. (3) The Registrar must not give access under subsection (1) unless access controls have been set by the individual. (4) If the Registrar refuses to give access under subsection (1), the Registrar must give the registered training organisation, VET‑related body or other entity written notice of the decision and the reasons for the decision.
