25ARegistrar may refuse access to personal information

#### 25A Registrar may refuse access to personal information (1) If an individual makes a request for access to personal information about the individual held by the Registrar, the Registrar may refuse to give the individual access to the information if: (a) the information is also held by any of the following entities: (i) a school; (ii) an approved authority for a school; (iii) an entity prescribed by the regulations; and (b) the Registrar considers that it is more appropriate for the request to be made to the entity. (2) The refusal is taken, for the purposes of paragraph 12.2(b) of Australian Privacy Principle 12, to be authorised by this Act.
