#### 159 Lapsing of proposal 159 Lapsing of proposal > > (1) This section applies if— > > > > > (a) the strata committee decides a strata renewal proposal does not warrant further consideration by the owners corporation and a qualified request to consider the proposal at a general meeting of the owners corporation has not been made within 44 days after the day the strata committee made the decision, or > > > > > (b) the owners corporation, under Division 3, decides a strata renewal proposal does not warrant investigation by a strata renewal committee. > > > (2) The strata renewal proposal lapses for the purpose of this Part when the decision is made.
