#### 118 Severance of lots by resumption 118 Severance of lots by resumption > For the purposes of any Act relating to the payment of compensation on the resumption of land— > > > (a) a part of a lot that is resumed is taken to be severed from every other part of the lot, whether or not the part and any other part are contiguous, and > > > (b) if the resumed land or any part of the resumed land is common property, the beneficial interests of the owners in the common property is taken to be vested in the owners corporation to the exclusion of the owners for the purposes of any claim for or the payment of compensation in relation to the resumption.
