Commonwealth act
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Act updates 1975 federal funding under the States Grants (Advanced Education) Act to allocate and increase grants for colleges of advanced education nationwide. It adds capital grants for two NSW private teacher colleges, funds new welfare-studies courses, accelerates Albury–Wodonga development, raises funding caps for several programs, and replaces schedules with detailed dollar-approved recurrent and capital projects across many institutions. Grants require state compliance with Commission approvals and a Ministerial report to Parliament after 31 December 1975.
