Tasmania regulation
This order (effective 1 July 2014) establishes Tourism Tasmania as a State authority (s3) and reallocates parts of existing departments: Sport and Recreation Tasmania to the Department of Premier and Cabinet; Tourism Tasmania’s unit into the new Tourism Tasmania authority; and Skills Tasmania into the Department of State Growth (s4).
The changes reassign responsibility for functions, staff and budgets to different agencies and place administrative responsibility for the order with the Department of Premier and Cabinet (commencement s2; administration note).
