Tasmania regulation
This is a Tasmanian government administrative order that reorganised parts of the Tasmanian State Service (the public service workforce) back in November 2008.
These types of restructuring orders are used to move government employees, functions, and responsibilities between different government departments or agencies. Think of it like an official memo that says: "This team of public servants, and the work they do, is moving from Department A to Department B."
For affected public servants, this order determines who their employer is, which agency they work for, and what conditions apply to their employment. It also determines which minister is responsible for certain government functions.
