Tasmania regulation
This order reorganises Tasmanian government departments: it merges Tourism Tasmania and Events Tasmania (and parts of the Department of Tourism, Arts and the Environment) into the Department of Economic Development, and renames two departments. It affects agency staff, budgets, administrative responsibilities and any laws or contracts that refer to the old department names; it matters because responsibility for tourism functions is shifted and official department names used across government are updated.
