Tasmania regulation
This order renames three government departments and moves specific units, branches and secretariats from some departments into others, taking effect 5 April 2006. It directly affects the named departments and the listed parts that are amalgamated (ss 3–6, 5). The government, administered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet, decides the reallocations; the order reallocates responsibilities, reporting lines and administrative control, which will shift where costs, oversight and day‑to‑day management sit.
