Tasmania regulation
This Order reorganises parts of the Tasmanian state service: the Office of Industrial Relations is moved into the Department of Premier and Cabinet and Racing Services Tasmania is moved into the Department of Economic Development (s3). It renames the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations as the Department of Justice (s4) and takes effect on 2 February 2004 (s2).
The Department of Premier and Cabinet administers and implements the changes; government budgets fund transition costs and affected staff and agencies must adapt reporting and administrative arrangements (administering statement).
