This Order gives legal effect to the State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 2009 by naming the instrument, fixing its commencement date (1 July 2009) and identifying the State Service Act 2000 as the Principal Act. It records that an amendment has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Act and says the Department of Premier and Cabinet administers the Order.
