### 47 Requirement to pay fees > [*\[Section 47 Amended by No. 85 of 1997, Sched. 4, Applied:01 Jan 1998\]*](/view/html/inforce/1998-01-01/act-1997-085#JS4@Ja12@GC22@EN) The Commission is not required to take any action under this Act, and any submission or representation which is lodged under this Act is not valid, unless any requirements imposed by regulations made under [section 46](#GS46@EN) as to the payment of fees in respect of the taking of that action or the lodging of that submission or representation have been complied with.
