#### 29 Seal of authorities and recovery of money by authorities 29 Seal of authorities and recovery of money by authorities > > (1) The seal of an authority is to be kept by the chief executive of the authority and may be affixed to a document only— > > > > > (a) in the presence of the chief executive of the authority or a member of staff of the authority who is authorised for the purpose by the chief executive of the authority, and > > > > > (b) with an attestation by the signature of the chief executive or that member of staff of the fact of the affixing of the seal. > > > (2) Any charge, fee or money due to an authority, or to the Crown in respect of the activities of the authority, may be recovered by the authority as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction if no express provision is otherwise made for its recovery. > > > (3) In this section, authority means ICNSW or SIRA.
