#### 26 Delegation 26 Delegation > > (1) SIRA may delegate to an authorised person any of its functions, other than this power of delegation. > > > (2) The chief executive of SIRA may delegate to an authorised person any of the chief executive’s functions under this Act, other than this power of delegation. > > > (3) A delegate may sub-delegate to an authorised person any function delegated by SIRA or the chief executive if the delegate is authorised in writing to do so by SIRA or the chief executive. > > > (4) In this section— > > > > authorised person means any of the following— > > > > > (a) a member of staff of SIRA, > > > > > (b) a member of the SIRA Board or a committee of the SIRA Board, > > > > > (c) a person or body prescribed by the regulations.
