#### 20 Ministerial directions 20 Ministerial directions > > (1) The Minister may give SIRA a written direction with respect to the functions of SIRA if the Minister is satisfied that it is necessary to do so in the public interest. > > > (2) SIRA must ensure that the direction is complied with. > > > (3) SIRA must include in its annual report particulars of each direction given under this section during the year to which the report relates. > > > (4) Except as provided by this section, SIRA is not, in the exercise of its functions, subject to the control and direction of the Minister.
