11 Payment of grants
(1) [Section 11 Subsection (1) amended by No. 21 of 2000, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jul 2000] The Treasurer shall, on accepting any recommendations or further recommendations contained in a report made by the Commission under section 9 (3) or section 10 (3) in any financial year, pay grants in that year to councils in accordance with those recommendations or further recommendations.
(2) [Section 11 Subsection (2) amended by No. 4 of 2017, Sched. 1, Applied:01 Jul 2019] *[Section 11 Subsection (2) amended by No. 68 of 1994, s. 3 and Sched. 1 ]*The payment of grants under subsection (1) shall be made out of the Public Account from funds provided by Parliament for the purpose.
