Wash bays
(1) The construction or installation of wash bays for cleaning vehicles and equipment.
(2) The development—
(a) must include sediment traps and oil-water separators appropriate to the size of the development, and
(b) must be constructed in accordance with AS/NZS 3500.2:2025, Plumbing and drainage, Part 2: Sanitary plumbing and drainage, and
(c) must not be located within a landscaped area, and
(d) must include appropriate containment systems and barriers to prevent leakage or contamination resulting from the development.
