32 Dungowan Dam and Pipeline Project

(1) Development for the purposes of a new dam and pipeline located at Ogunbil in the Tamworth Regional local government area, including the following—

(a) construction and operation of a dam with up to 22.5GL of storage,

(b) construction and operation of a bulk water pipeline from the dam to intersect with the pipeline at the existing Chaffey Dam,

(c) decommissioning the existing Dungowan Dam and related infrastructure and services,

(d) rehabilitation of the storage area of the existing Dungowan Dam,

(e) ancillary development, including construction and operation of pipeline connection spurs, upgrade or construction of access roads, utilities infrastructure, construction accommodation and construction compounds.

(2) The development does not include surveys, test drilling, test excavation, geotechnical investigations or other tests, sampling or investigations.
