#### 82 Consequences of revocation 82 Consequences of revocation > > (1) If a debt recovery order is revoked completely— > > > > > (a) the order then ceases to have effect, and > > > > > (b) any debt recovery action is to be cancelled, and > > > > > (c) any debt recovery action already taken is to be reversed, unless the same debt recovery action is authorised under another debt recovery order, and > > > > > (d) debt recovery costs are not payable under the order and, if paid, are repayable. > > > (2) If a debt recovery order is revoked only to the extent of some of the amount or amounts to which it applies— > > > > > (a) the order continues to have effect in respect of the remaining amount or amounts to which it applies, and > > > > > (b) any debt recovery action under the order is to be limited to that remaining amount or amounts, and > > > > > (c) any amount that has been paid under the order is to be applied to payment of the remaining amount or amounts to which it applies and any debt recovery costs payable under the order. > > > (3) The revocation of a debt recovery order does not prevent the making of a further debt recovery order in respect of the State debt.
