#### 64 Power to revoke debt recovery order (referable debts) 64 Power to revoke debt recovery order (referable debts) > The Chief Commissioner may, on application by a debtor, revoke a debt recovery order in respect of the whole or part of an unpaid referable debt if satisfied that, due to any financial, medical or personal circumstances of the debtor— > > > (a) the debtor does not have sufficient means to pay the State debt and is not likely to have sufficient means to pay the State debt, and > > > (b) debt recovery action has not been or is unlikely to be successful in satisfying the State debt. > > Note. > > Part 8 provides for the cancellation of debt recovery action following the revocation of a debt recovery order.
