#### 59 Power of person executing order or warrant to demand name and address 59 Power of person executing order or warrant to demand name and address > > (1) The Sheriff or other person executing an order or warrant under this Part may require a person whom the Sheriff or other person suspects on reasonable grounds to be the debtor to state the person’s full name and residential address and to produce evidence of the person’s identity. > > > (2) A person is not required to comply with such a requirement unless the person was warned on that occasion that a failure to comply is an offence. > > > (3) A person who, without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with such a requirement is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty—10 penalty units.
