#### 101 Delegation 101 Delegation > > (1) The Chief Commissioner may delegate to any person a function of the Chief Commissioner under this Act, other than this power of delegation, a principal debt recovery function or an information gathering function. > > > (2) The Chief Commissioner may delegate a principal debt recovery function or information gathering function to any person employed in the Public Service. > > > (3) The Chief Commissioner and any person to whom a principal debt recovery function is delegated has, in the exercise of principal debt recovery functions, the same protection and immunities as an officer of a court. > > > (4) In this section— > > > > information gathering function means a function of the Chief Commissioner under this Act that enables the Chief Commissioner to obtain personal information about a person. > > > > principal debt recovery function means a function of the Chief Commissioner of— > > > > > (a) making, amending or revoking an order under this Act, or > > > > > (b) suspending or cancelling debt recovery action under this Act.
