Tasmania act
This Act amends the Standard Time Act 1895 to align the legal standard of time with Coordinated Universal Time. It is taken to have commenced on 1 September 2005. The amendment has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Act and, by a transitional provision, applies to Acts, proclamations, orders, rules, regulations, by‑laws, deeds and other instruments made before commencement. It therefore changes how legal time references operate for anyone or any body governed by the Standard Time Act.
