38 Imposition of duty on policies of insurance Stamp duty is payable on a policy of insurance in respect of: (a) property in the Territory; or
Stamp Duty Act 1978 37 (b) a risk, contingency or event concerning an act or omission that, in the normal course of events, may occur within or partly within the Territory; or (c) a life insurance rider in respect of a person whose principal place of residence is in the Territory.
