52 ASDMAC’s functions
(1) The ASDMAC has the following functions: (a) such functions as are conferred on the ASDMAC by the NAD scheme; (b) to give advice and information to the CEO and the ASC about: (i) the performance of the ASDMAC’s functions; and (ii) sports doping and safety matters; (c) to give information to sporting administration bodies about individual cases that involve: (i) sports doping and safety matters; or (ii) any other matter arising out of the provision of anti‑doping testing services; (d) to provide services relating to sports doping and safety matters under contract on behalf of the Commonwealth; (e) such other functions as are conferred on the ASDMAC by this Act or any other law of the Commonwealth; (f) to do anything incidental to or conducive to the performance of any of the above functions.
Note: For sports doping and safety matter, see section 4.
Constitutional limits (2) Subsection 21(2) applies to the functions of the ASDMAC in a corresponding way to the way in which it applies to the functions of the CEO.
