5 When is there a vacancy?
(1) For the purposes of a reference in: (a) this Act to a vacancy in the office of an Advisory Council member; or (b) the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 to a vacancy in the membership of a body; there are taken to be 10 offices of Advisory Council members in addition to the Advisory Council Chair. (2) For the purposes of a reference in: (a) this Act to a vacancy in the office of an ASDMAC primary member; or (b) the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 to a vacancy in the membership of a body; there are taken to be 6 offices of ASDMAC primary members.
