#### 9 Role of the Board The role of the Board is: (a) to decide the objectives, strategies and policies to be followed by the SBS in performing its functions; and (b) to ensure that the SBS performs its functions in a proper, efficient and economical manner and with the maximum benefit to the people of Australia.
