100 Procedure before entry
(1) Before an Investigator or a person authorised to assist the Investigator under section 102 enters accident site premises, the Investigator must: (a) announce that this Division authorises him or her to enter the premises; and (b) give any occupier at the premises an opportunity to allow entry. (2) When requesting an occupier’s consent, the Investigator must tell the person that the Investigator has powers of entry and search under this Division even if the occupier refuses to give his or her consent.
