#### 29A Appointed members 29A Appointed members > If, on the commencement of the amendments to section 10 made by Schedule 1 to the [Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No 2) 1999](/view/html/repealed/current/act-1999-085), the membership of the Council fails to comply with section 10 (4) as so amended, then, for the purposes of clause 3 (1) of Schedule 1 to this Act, there is taken to be a vacancy in the office of the member in respect of which the failure exists.
