16 Penalties for offences
The penalty on conviction of an offence against subsection 8(1) or (2) or section 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13 is: (a) if the offender is a natural person—imprisonment for a period not exceeding 20 years or a fine not exceeding 1,000 penalty units, or both; or (b) if the offender is a body corporate—a fine not exceeding 5,000 penalty units.
