282 Lapsing of order to vacate and lapsing or cancellation of warrant to remove resident

(1) An order to vacate is discharged if the applicant for the order does not apply for the issue of a warrant to remove the resident under section 280 within 6 months after the date of the order to vacate.

(2) A warrant to remove a resident lapses if the warrant is not executed within the time stated in the order to vacate.

(3) VCAT may, at any time, cancel a warrant to remove a resident.
